The Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference (NBCYC) has highlighted significant achievements recorded within the first eleven months of the current administration, spanning leadership development, missions, agriculture, entrepreneurship, media engagement, and institutional reforms.
Presenting his scorecard at the 52nd Annual Session of the Conference, the National President, Ambassador Amos Barnabas Kadanga, stated that the leadership remains committed to preserving the unity and dignity of the Conference while expanding opportunities for Nigerian Baptist youths.

Among the milestones recorded were the successful organization of the National Leadership Training Conference across the Conference’s three zones, the Annual Mission Outreach in Dumne, Adamawa State, the Annual Executive Meeting and Leadership Retreat, and the Annual Convention Youth Night.
Kadanga disclosed that the Conference has strengthened its youth empowerment drive through active participation in the Baptist Youth in Agriculture (BAYIA) initiative, with several young Baptists currently receiving agricultural training at the Peace House Agricultural Training Institute in Ondo State. He encouraged more youths to take advantage of this program and other empowerment opportunities available through the Arise Youth Network for Total Impact NGO.
He further revealed that the Conference has expanded its investment in crop farming at the Ajayi Dahunsi Baptist Memorial Youth Camp while boosting internally generated revenue through the sale of official youth uniforms. According to him, the administration is also pursuing strategic partnerships to improve long-term financial sustainability.
On institutional development, Kadanga noted that a committee has been inaugurated to review the Conference’s bye-laws to align them with current realities. He added that the NBCYC has strengthened its media presence and introduced quarterly webinars to equip young people on contemporary issues affecting their lives and ministries.
He reaffirmed the administration’s resolve to continue building a vibrant, self-reliant, and globally relevant youth conference capable of producing transformational Christian leaders.
