Youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention will converge at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, from Tuesday, August 4 to Saturday, August 8, 2026, for the 52nd Annual Session of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference.
The four-day conference, with arrival on August 4 national gathering is expected to draw young Baptists from across Nigeria for a time of spiritual renewal, leadership development, and Christian fellowship.
This year’s theme, “Beyond Limits,” is drawn from Mark 10:27: “With God all things are possible.”
According to the President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, Amb. Amos Barnabas Kadanga, the conference theme reminds believers that God empowers His children to overcome every obstacle.
“Limitations are inherent in mortality. However, as children of God, we have an advantage. Our advantage is the ability to go beyond limits. What limits others cannot limit us. Every blockade is only a challenge to be surmounted for the next stage. I implore us to take advantage of having the Almighty God on our side. We should not magnify our challenges. We should rise to the challenge and conquer,” he said.
The conference programme will feature Bible teaching, song ministrations, prayer sessions, leadership seminars, sports and games, Bible quiz competitions, and a cultural night.
The annual session will also host several leaders of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and other respected ministers, including Rev. Dr. Olusola Idowu, Incoming President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention; Rev. Dr. Olawuyi James, Director of the Youths and Students Ministries Department; Rev. Mike Babatunde, renowned marriage and family life expert; Rev. Dr. Godspower Okitikpi, National Coordinator of the Youth Ministries Division; Rev. Dr. Bamidele Ifedapo; Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Arotile; and other notable ministers and resource persons.
Registration for the conference was set at ₦5,000, while late registration is now open at ₦6,000. The registration fee covers access to all programme venues, conference materials, and accommodation throughout the event.
Youths, church leaders, and stakeholders across the Nigerian Baptist Convention are encouraged to register and mobilize delegates to participate in what organizers describe as a life-transforming gathering.
